The observatory is the public-facing layer: readable, beautiful, and informative without exposing private implementation details.

Purpose

The observatory lets visitors see the project’s direction, research themes, experiment summaries, and public-safe visualizations. It is designed as a front door, not a control room.

That distinction matters. The homepage can display adaptive systems, complex networks, simulation snapshots, and research logs while keeping internal variables, thresholds, and candidate laws out of view until they are ready for deliberate release.

Observatory rules

  • Show research direction, not private engine mechanics.
  • Use public terms for architecture and experiment summaries.
  • Link serious outside literature so the project sits in a credible research context.
  • Keep the controlled lab separate from the public visitor experience.
Front door: invite inquiry. Reactor room: stay locked until the release standard is met.
